The Haven at Shalem provides affordable supportive community living for seniors in a home-like setting who want to enjoy the convenience and provision of gourmet daily meals, weekly housekeeping, a personal emergency response system and access to services that meet their changing needs. Licensed under Alberta Health Services, the Haven offers spacious 385 sq. ft. studio suites with large bright windows, barrier-freewalk-in showers, built in shelving units, kitchenettes and more.Licensed Supportive Living
As a Licensed Supportive Living facility and included in the monthly rent,residents at the Haven receive:- Nutritious, chef-prepared meals
- Weekly housecleaning of suites
- Weekly linens and towels laundry service
- Snacks and freshly baked goods available 24/7
- Emergency Alert System
To be eligible for Supportive Living, applicants must meet the following requirements:
AGEThe eligibility age to reside in the Haven is 60.
HEALTH
Residents of the Haven are required to be in a state of physical and mental health, as assessed by their physician, that allows them to function independently and have the physical ability to move around their suite and to get to and from the dining room on their own.
Residents are able to access Home Care services through our partnership with Alberta Health Services.Rental rates at the Haven are subject to change as per rates set by Alberta Health Services.
